36 new EMT’s join the ranks of Virginia Beach EMS

On August 17th EMT Class 02-2010 held their graduation ceremony at the Virginia Beach Fire-EMS Training Center. The 36 new EMT’s of Class 02-2010 have gone into the record book as Virginia Beach’s largest graduating class.

The auditorium was filled to capacity with cheering and supporting family members along with volunteers from the ten volunteer rescue squads.

Class 02-2010 will also be known to lead instructor Falcon Knight as his last hurrah. Instructor Falcon Knight is retiring after many years of dedication and hard work. Falcon will continue as a EMS volunteer with the Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squad.
