Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad Receives Outstanding EMS Ageny Award!

On June 16th, 2019 at the Tidewater EMS Regional Awards Ceremony held at Harbor Park, Norfolk VA, the Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad was awarded the 2019 Tidewater EMS Council, “Outstanding EMS Agency of the Year.”

TEMS Council Awards Ceremony June 16th at Harbor Park, home of the Norfolk Tides where Courthouse Rescue Volunteers were recognized as the 2019 TEMS Council EMS Agency.

The Courthouse Rescue Squad is composed of 100+ operational and support teams volunteers. The volunteers staff four advanced life support ambulances, a medic cart and support vehicles, providing 24/7 EMS service.

The volunteers also provide medical care at special events, such as the Pungo Strawberry Festival and the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater. The squad also offers free “hands only CPR training” to the community.

The Courthouse Rescue Squad has been helping the community since 1947.
